My name is Tara Pavlik, and I am a multimedia artist whose perspective was shaped between two worlds: born in Prague and raised on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Growing up alongside indigenous communities, I developed a deep reverence for the intersections of nature, heritage, and community-led initiatives.

My passion for multimedia storytelling evolved from a desire to translate the beauty and complexity I observed into a visual language. This journey has been further refined through my studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where I’ve gained the tools to analyze and document the social and environmental systems I care so deeply about. Whether working alongside the non-profit Ecolibri or capturing the resilience of local cultures, I use my art to bridge the gap between documentation and advocacy, turning my vision for a better world into a tangible reality.
